Today we look at the world’s largest metropolises, in today’s world it’s no longer small-scale production, the traditional production workshops and their relations are broken, and even in some cities we observe that there is nothing of traditional production at all.

Caravansaries in the Grand Bazaar in İstanbul have a unique structure in the production. For centuries in this region the metal and jewellery craftsmen continues to work. This antique tradition of production still exists today in the Historical Peninsula, in the Grand Bazaar and the Han region as an inheritance from the Byzantine and Ottoman empires.
