GRAND BAZAAR-DOME

The Grand Bazaar exhibition, in which artists from many countries participated using different techniques, reflects the stereotypical perception of the Grand Bazaar, its artists and its residents, based on the architecture, history and energy of the Grand Bazaar. I designed a ring called "Grand Bazaar, Dome" for this exhibition.

'GRAND BAZAAR. DOME

I created mold inside the dome. Mold is a fungus that exists on organic material formed by moisture, heat and air... TOURMALINE stones were hanging around the moldy dome as if they were about to fall at any moment... I connected the TOURMALINE to the DOME with copper wires to show that the moldy fabric inside the decaying GRAND BAZAAR existed with all its richness and variety. However, this fragile state could be destroyed at any moment...
